Where applicable, programs include an assessment so learners demonstrate their understanding before earning a certificate or credential.
An Important Distinction
What CPD is not.
CPD is continuing professional development and structured ongoing learning. It is distinct from formal academic study and from regulatory licensing. CPD is not:
- A university degree
- A government licence or government accreditation
- A regulated professional designation
- A guarantee of employment
- A guarantee of income
- A guarantee of business success
Recognition of CPD hours varies. Learners should confirm the requirements of their own employer or professional body.
